Arielle’s origins are murky, and Aries has never been particularly clear about them. When Arielle was first sighted, rumors spread that she was simply Aries transforming his body into that of a woman. However, when Arielle began appearing alongside Aries, even those closest to Aries became confused. Arielle’s aura and presence are identical to Aries's, yet somehow distinct in a way that few people can articulate without knowing both of them exceptionally well.

Arielle’s loyalty to Aries is unparalleled, and she openly admits she exists wholly for his will alone. Despite her loyalty to him, however, she is often seen speaking to Aries very casually, and the two have a relationship similar to that of close twin siblings, more so than the relationship of servant and master.

When the Order of the Nesur was initially founded, Arielle took it upon herself to test the loyalty of Aries’ newly found followers. With cruelty reflective of her Sire’s, she decimated the order’s numbers, letting only the most fanatical followers survive. After establishing a ranking system in the Order, she has become more lenient in her judgment of Aries’ followers.

Arielle is known for limitlessly sharing Aries's feelings for others and can often be seen struggling with her feelings around people who love Aries but do not feel the same towards her. Conversely, if Arielle develops feelings for someone who has never met Aries, those feelings do not fade, even if Aries does not share them after the fact.

While Arielle shares Aries’ physical appearance in many ways, she is set apart by her black markings, which are often confused with tattoos. Unlike traditional tattoos, however, the markings can shift and warp based on her mood and state of mind.
